In my column Zeitgeist, I explore feminism as well as the female experience in the 2020’s. I wouldn’t say that a fatigue concerning the topic of feminism in the 21st century is settling in, but I have noticed misunderstandings as well as increasing frustration from all sides of the political spectrum.

In Zeitgeist I will include a variety of perspectives, focusing also on “Feminism through the male gaze”, on how our understanding of love and relationships has been shaped by the patriarchy and how we as people of all sexes and genders can look beyond labels and hopefully gain a better understanding of why we still need feminism nowadays.

Only if we come together in our differences can we create a more equal world.
